Yes, after lots of looking & back-breaking, & carrying & cleaning & sorting i`ve finally found a match for one of the MK1 "S" blocks we have

a genuine black "S" has now been re-united with it`s original "S" engine block

how cool is that???

stoked for him i really am

that`s what it`s all about people
:-)
carry on :-)

Nice work!

Was there an old story which led to the find?

The owner has to be over the moon with that. You just couldn't imagine finding something like but there you go.

Well done Matt.

I have an Mk1 S. But not with the original motor. It's been swapped out.

Is this what you're referring to?

My chassis is on the register but not the original engine number.

Maybe there should be a register for S Blocks. I believe a Porsche 911 forum has such a thing
