What type of engine is this 9fa/sa/l1824 I no it's a 1275 but is it a a+ motor

9F/Sa/L prefix is not a 1275S.
It was used only on 997 Cooper.

9FA is a 998 cooper motor 1964 definitely not A +

Been restamped then.
You are right, number is 998 Cooper, I missed the 'A'.

I've seen a 1275S with 850 prefix...!

Apparently Mini Cooper motor sport and performance built the motor as a go hard motor I brought the whole car for 300 bucks came with disk brakes mini lights full set and hi lows all round hiff 44 carb and 4 core radiator but he body is completely haddit rust every were the roof was flapping in the wind on the way home from picking it up today :)
