The fonts were all made specifically by Smiths in the day. There is no true type alternative. What are you trying to recreate? |

David E doesnt realise that by posting on Ausmini he has inadvertently asked Caerbont. BTW They dont actually own the brand, they use it under licence. Which font would you like? There are 3 primary variations. |

Hi minijcar just the one they usually use on the mga combined oil temp sender or.something. similar.. Thanks very much! It's not like I'm mass producing them or selling them I just wanted it.to.tone in with my car |

I think you can fake it with a stretched version of Times. If you do it in something like Inkscape you'll get it looking pretty close. Alternatively scan a photo and trace the outline. Again, if you use Inkscape and do it in a vector format you can scale and stretch it without it going blocky. Tim |
