Hi all

I recently purchased some headlight mesh stoneguards from minisport (ive always loved the look) but when i installed them they stick out really far which doesn't look nice. I was sure there was a type that sat in the chrome ring (roundy)

Does anyone know if this type if available and if so where to get them? Id be happy to buy second hand ones if anyone had a pair laying around.

Regards
James

It depends on the headlights you have fitted too. Some lenses are really round, but some are flatter like the ones I have..

Those ones look a bit different to mine. They look like they are held on by clips. Mine slide over the light before you put on the outer trim ring.

Which ones are you after??

Mine did stick out when I first installed them. I spent an hour or so with some pliers re-bending the clips to get them to sit flush against the headlight

Cool Timmy, yours seem to have turned out nice. I've posted a wanted ad because I can't seem to find any new ones on the interwebs, so if anyone has a set please let me know!

Hi James,

Give the guys at Harrison's a call. I got a pair of stainless steel mesh covers from them about 12 months ago.

Doug, do you have any little wheel Moke parts lists, they were fitted with them when new.

You are quite correct. :)

Part HYK2578 on the early Moke then HYL6792 on the Californian according to PUB1029R.

Hi Rossco, sorry to drag up an old thread, but I like these covers you have. Do they replace the inner retention piece of the light?
