Sorting out my stuff for my Mk2 & GT and it appears I have two types of Booster brackets. The one on the left came off my Mk2 but I'm not sure that its original as the car was a bitsa. What was the reason for the change in bracket shape and which one belongs to which car? Other than the difference in the front of the bracket, the rest including mounting holes are the same.

The bracket on the right is the same as my 1970 MkII 'S' for fitting the PBR VH44 JA booster.
The one on the left is not familiar to me (perhaps from another model using the PBR unit); Mk I 'S's used 2 brackets - a scalloped bracket to hold the main body of the Lockheed (UK) booster and a smaller bracket to clamp around the nose of the booster nearer the front of the car.

Thanks Bill for the reply. Me thinks that I need to stick me head into some more engine bays at mini shows.
