Hi all, what is the difference between wet and dry rear trailing arms?

Edit: I want to fit coil springs and hilos, is it just the stub axle or is there something else?

Cheers Richard.

Rears?? Different length of the pivot arm.... to install a a wet arm with a dry cone will require a massive hilo...

Cheers, Ian

The cup for the knuckle is farther forward on the hydro arms. The tabs for the brake lines are on the bottom rather than the top, stub axle has a different spigot for mounting the helper spring rather than a shock, and the hydro arm also has a bump stop mount, which the dry don't (i think)

Another thing to keep in mind is if you use dry arms in a wet subframe (like I've done  ) you end up with no bump stop at all, so if I want to go anywhere with the kids in the back I have to wind the hilo's up an inch. till I fix it that is
