In my search for a how to rebuild an engine, I came across a couple of A series engine rebuild DVD's. Unfortunately they are all over seas and postage is mostly non existent oddly enough. So does anyone have any experience with these DVD's or a link? better yet a way to get one on the cheap

cheers

Yeh, it’s pretty amazing video. I’m keen to watch it all the way through. Plenty of tips for someone like me.

When I started to do my own car repairs in the '70s, there was very little information anywhere. Just had to make my own mistakes and learn from them.
Even now, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of detailed 'how to assemble engines' type of information. You need someone more experienced to show how they do these things and all the little details that add up to a better job.
Youtube is good to a point but the videos are often by people doing the job for the first time themselves, after watching someone else's youtube.

The guys from mini mania in the US do a couple of really detailed videos. They’re also experienced and know a lot of tips and tricks

It’s Bill Sollis in the video, not Bob (maybe Bob is his brother).
