Post subject:  Where to buy taper wheel bearings?
The place i was going to get them from has been screwing me around......

Anyone got the contact details of a place in sydney where you can get them reasonably priced?

Buy them with a trade order from BSC Technology.
Approx $36 + GST.
They got them up from Melbourne.

Timken's new part # for front kit is LM67049A-9F2B8

(Seals not included- and you need 2 per side.):wink:

Are those 2 seals per side the same seal(eg 4 seals) or 2 x different seals?

2 seals on each hub (one each side of swivel hub). all 4 seals are the same.
Buy them off BSC too- they're just Mini front hub seals.. :wink:

<edit> I bought 8 seals from Karcraft last March- p/n AYA4021- for $2.20 each.. 8)

Make sure you quote the full Timken part number I posted above. They may give you the runaround otherwise. It's a new number but should now be in their system.

I know they do exist- I'm looking at the boxes... :lol:

I rang them this morning and said they can get them u from melbourne for me......$48 + GST + freight.........not exactly trade price though.

Hey, it's still way cheaper than all the Mini dealers, including Karcraft (who are probably cheapest).

May be cheaper by the dozen... it works with tyres! :lol:

Sorry to cut in on the End. Cheaper than Karcraft? I have not experanced this. I Had come to the conclusion that they were the cheapest and the most stock.
now you have me thinking.
