Does it go right down? Air is not a real good test, IMO.
I would fill it with fluid, then you can see where it's leaking. It may just be stretching the bags a bit (common if it's been depressurised a while).

G'day The clubman is now resting on its own four feet, however in order to assess whether pipes were in fact the problem with our suspension, we have used compressed air from a diving tank to pump in air to make sure we had no leaks. Unfortunately it appears we do. We have used soapy water in a spray bottle to make sure it was not in any of the connectors. We have even had a stethoscope on each unit to check if we can hear a leak, to no avail. Yet we are still loosing height in the drivers side. The logical yet frustrating conclusion is that a unit itself on the drivers side has failed. In order to avoid taking out both subframes, does anyone know of any other ways we can find out whether it's the front or rear unit? |

I'd pull the front hose off at the bulkhead, and plug the pipe fitting. Then `blow it again, Sam'.
