Anyone used rivets to attach their innocent flares just at a thought do you think it's a good idea or will it crack the plastic around the holes... |

stainless rivots are too strong, they will crack plastic before 'popping'. As said, stainless phillip head screws. |

I've had no probs with SS self tappers. I buy them from Bias Boating Warehouse, they have a good range and are cheaper than Bunnyrabbits etc. I put grease on them before screwing in, and don't overtighten them. |
