...tick knob. Can someone tell me the thread size on the clubman gear lever. I want to make a threaded insert for this nice leather thing i bought. I'd glue in a small tapped rod so i can screw it nice and tight... the self cutting plastic one it comes with turns round and round so easily. If someone knows the size, i can whip one up tomorrow in metal work. ![]() Cheers. |

If no one knows, go down to ya local nuts and bolts store with a standard knob, and try some bolts in it. ![]() |

Yep good idea ![]() Pity theres no hardware stores open at 10pm and my range of assorted bolts is quite limited. Anyone? Will. |

(guess...) 3/8" UNF?? ![]() Try a Mini head nut if U got one spare... <edit> Nope, I just looked at an old one- looks like 5/16" UNC or M8- bit hard to tell in the dark.. |

make a sleeve and chuck a pointed grub screw in the side. my g/f's gear knob is a solid stainless ball, and it hasnt moved since I put the pointed grub screw in it (threw away the one it came with) |
