Hi everyone,

I am currently considering purchacing a set of 1 1/4 SU's i.e twin SU's with manifold.

I dont konw the condition but I believe they would be in ok nick... The guy Im thinking of buying them off is a great friend and doesn't have a clue on what they would be worth, likewise Im also unsure.

Also if they needed some TLC whats involved?

I dont want to rip him off, I want to give him a reasonable price.

your comments are most welcome.

Depending on the manifold, IMO most twin setups are worth about $100 in ok condition, without airfilters.. I have found the last lot of carbs i rebuilt ( kitted) the kits wer about $32 per carb, that included gaskets, (main get (choke) and conectiing pipe. pancake airfilters I have found to be worth about $20 per item, and the needles for the carbs are about $10 each (if they need it)

these are prices i have payed, although others, may get better prices so ask around.

cheers
