Good evening all.
My problem is with the rods from the handle to the latch ,is there any way of stoping them from falling off the latch. Mine may be too worn or i may be missing something. Any help would be very helpfull.
Thanks.

You need the clips at the actuator end.

Also at the threaded rod from the door handle to the actuator if you keep finding it going out of adjustment, some silicone fuel tubing from a hobby shop about 10mm long will stop it. You can also adjust it later if you need it but I found on the clubby once you adjust it and stick th tubing on it doesn't move. In this situation I think it is handier than threadlock..

Those clip things work a treat, but if you don't have them, and you're a cheapskate like me, you can make your own out of pieces of meccano. There are pieces of meccano designed to hold rods, and you can push the rod holding bit over the rod, and the bolt hole over the bent end of the rod with the actuator in between.

Works just as well as the real thing.

i believe you may be needing the little "D" shaped plastic clips,,, (not the one shown in the pic above)

John from mini king in sydney has them

they hold the rod into the inner door handle so the rod doesn`t keep pulling out of the handle/flap

yeah???

Thanks everyone.
It is the inner door flap where the problem is.
