I was reading the scary drive home thread and was getting a little worried that I didn't do my Axle nuts up tight enough. What Torque should these be done.
2 issues I've got.
1) Still got shudder when engaging clutch. Already replaced slave cylinder and put new seals in Master (only had wrong seal kit, local mechanic did it and when to someone near by who told him the brake & clutch use same seal kit and that worked) Little worried it's too small a master cylinder and that's why it shudders for the first 1-2cm of release but fine after that. There's also a high pitched sound that I think is because the clutch doesn't have the spring.
2) It makes a nasty sound at the front left, a kind of grinding rubbing sound, I'd thought maybe the shoes where over adjusted but I had a local shop check the brakes after I put the stepped drums on (better safe ...) and they seemed ok other than a leaking cylinder (makes it pull to the right when braking). Worried it's the drive shaft as I couldn't get the axle off and a mini place said if the drive shaft is gone then it wouldn't come off.
