Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a company that will transport cars from Vic. to WA?

Particularly a car that can't be driven onto the trailer...

I've got a guy in WA who wants my 850, but we need to find someone who can transport it.

Any suggestions???

About 7 years ago while living in Mildura I had to get 2 drilling vehicles( landcruiser and Canter ) from Bunbury in WA to Mildura then back again 2 months later.
It was very expensive to go over to WA because it is very hard for truckies to get a back load to the east.
The cheapest was to drive over to WA and catch a bus back or drive to port Augusta and put the vehicles on a train to Perth.

Your best bet would be to go to a truck stop and ask the drivers for their ideas.

Yeah, I was looking at a rolling shell in Vic.
I looked at donig it via train and it was very expensive...
Havnt looked into getting it trucked over.
If anyone finds something at a decent price I would be interested to hear about it :D

Cheers Matt

I'm still looking, there are a heap if you can drive it on, but a rolling shell.... that's a different story altogether.

If I find anyone, I'll post it.

I sent off a heap of enquiry emails today, so hopefully I'll get some positive answers and decent quotes...

I'll keep you up-to-date.

Hi all,

These companies mustn't be interested in making any money, as I've only had one firm quote so far, $1795.00 for a "rolling shell with all glass intact, doors fitted and working brakes"...

Not cheap, but then again I didn't expect it to be cheap, it cost me $200.00 to have my rolling shell moved from Bendigo to Kerang...
