A former owner of the Project X is trying to find out if it is still around. He has some parts that may help to restore it. So, who has it? For those that don't know, Project X was a Mini based sports car that was built by Sports Car World Magazine in the 60s. |

I tried to locate it several years ago but ran out of leads , would you be able to send the name of the person you know to me to see if it's before or after I had traced it please ? Might take a while to dig up my info again though

This bloke says that he had it in the 80s, he reunited the body and the chassis after they got separated. |

And you can't park it in the rain in case it all swell,s up , " Does this color red make me look fat" "No your just retaining a little fluid" At least you can go to a timber yard and ask for a boot, bonnet and matching panels

Nope , all hand shaped aluminium , it was an exercise by the magazine to handbuild a cheap sportscar but it ended up more complicated than they planned (mid engined instead of front engined) and more expensive (aluminium body instead of steel ) ... |

I didn't want a discussion about how ugly it is, I just wanted to find the owner of it. I don't know why I bothered.
