Latest mini world mag has a Turbo Hayabusa mini in it with claimed power to be 380bhp. The joint that made it has a website, www.holeshotracing.co.uk they usually just make bikes but made the mini with the help from Z-cars. and this is a bit from their website about the mini..... "Our Turbo Hayabusa engined mini has just run 0-60mph in 3.3secs, and standing 1/4 mile in 11 secs @ 130mph" I WANT ONE, I WANT ONE It is one horn looking piece of mini. |

I've got one of the recent fifth gear episodes where they search for the "Ultimate Mini" it was the fastest, it has cost 25,000 pounds so far. Its also on the front of Mini World (June issue). Looks pretty wild ![]() |

Well that would be interesting!! RWD i assume? Front mount or rear mount engine? That would shut all the V8 drivers up at the traffic lights!!! Provided u can get power down, what size tyres it running? suspension setup? |

It would shut more then just the V8 drivers up. RWD drive, they rip out the back seat and basically everything behind to two front seats and whacked the engine there, has a special Z-car suspension setup, both front and rear, has coil overs as far as I can remember. 4 wheel discs, radiator and fuel tank are in the engine bay and I think it had 13xsomethingxsomething tyres, just don't have the book with me at the moment to check. From the outside if basically just looks like your normal every day mini. would so love to have a mini that sounded like a turbo road bike...hmmm |

Did it miss out on reverse gear, what have they done there??? |

Have no idea what they did with reverse, they didn't mention it. I'm sure they would have done something with it. Some bike arse road bikes kinda sorta have reverse anyway don't they? |
