Last time I bought paint I got it from Autolac.
They sell Dupont paint, which was used on minis from the factory and is great quality. they have stores in Brookvale (9905 1388), Artarmon, Taren Point, Girraween and Cardiff. I just went in and looked through the 2-pak colours and picked out one I liked and they made it up in acrylic - be warned though a few of the 2-pak colours don't have a acrylic mix code for them (they are usually the ones I pick first - just my bad luck).

One thing I would recommend with the metalic paint is that you use a clear coat over the top as it is known for the metalic flakes to rust (or corrode in the case of alluminium) in the surface of the paint.
They boys at autolac recommended a "special" dupont clear to me which I tried with great results.
all up it cost me about $300 for 4 litres of colour mixed to order, 2litres of white mixed to order for the roof, and about 3 litres of clear.
