Hi folks
just thought id take a minute to introduce myself
im a 21y.o. Spare parts interpreter from liverpool who currently has a mini 850
its off the road at the moment due to a lack of motorvation to fix it properly.
But as it does the bug has bitten again, i think its all those days driving a average joe skyline! So i have put some money aside for a fresh lick of paint and a new retrim.

Other toys include a z18t powered bugeye sprite which has been retired for a while but still makes the odd track day or drift meet. My parents also have a sprite which has been used over the last 20 years in everything from marque sports racing, historic rallies and in recent times group s.

I used to chat with the guys from MDC and was a member of the MCC for a while but with a lack of funds and inspiration sort of fell out of both
Hope to meet (read: race) you all soon
Scott

just some current specs:
63 (???) 850 shell no rust some chassis braces welded into floor
original sliding windows!
1310cc big question mark on internals bought it off a lebo! :)
weber, mid length manifold in hand fabbed air box
allan at truckstuff brake conversion
13"s
fussys performance exhaust (looks like the end of a muscat, and bloody loud)
custom dash
i did a retrim myself and it left a bit to be desired so its getting done properly soon
CD, 4 1/2" fronts and 6x9's under rear seat in custom panel, occasionally run 2 12" subs in ported box. just for the city runs to the rocks and alike.

thinking about getting a new boot to shave and mount the rear plate minitrucker style maybe airbrush a motif on the boot or bonnet?????

Id like to but we are currently rebuilding my mums race motor and all our garage is focussed on getting the car ready.

Although it would be a shame if the old girl was to misplace a set of 1340 pistons and rings :D

It aint broke so i dont really wanna take it apart. It had little km's since he built it.
he was a local boy and i noticed it being built at his house and came back a week later and the world had one less mini clubman, as he wrote it off into a pole.
Mechanicals good... mechanicals gone!

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

poeee: I will have video shortly. Initial drift are having a practice day at EC on sunday the 20th i think....

Doogs! hows the moroon weapon these days, still motorkhanaing???
I was at a off street drift night on the oran park go kart circuit and saw three vb commodores and a 120y, all rally cars, trying to show up the 180sx's and skylines. Reminded me of the supersprint and seeing your old commodore coming off the bridge sidways! That sold a while ago though huh?
