Very late post, buuuuuuuut
Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to clubmn and his missus for everything they did for me and my missus, picking up the mini, free hydro pump and lunch! we both had a blast and made it home safe, hope to do it again soon.
and nice to meet u Gallinski, good to catch up for the photo shoot.
The mini was a good buy, it did have body damage, but who cares!
few things about it,
1275, 12g940 head, cooper s gear box, hardy spices, 7.5" disc brakes, new brake booster, alloy rocker cover, new 13 row oil cooler, new alternator, 45 side draft delorto with a manifold starting with m or w, electric fuel pump, vdo tacho, wood grain steering wheel, long branch extractors, twin tanks, cooper s gauges (120mph speedo etc), contessors with new a008s, cd player, 6x9s and amp, and heaps of spares like 2 new a008s, heavy duty engine steady, lights, air horn, mag nuts etc. the interior was good, with newish carpet, low back seats, etc. overall the mini just needed a good tune, as it bogged down after about 5000 rpm. Now it goes hard, although im stripping it, all the parts are going into another shell.
