Well I'm nearly ready for battle at Wakefield on Saturday..

It's not a race meeting, just a `no speed limit day' :lol:

Seat, 3 point harness and steering column drop bracket are in, I've given it a head job :shock: today, and a little porting, it's all back together and sounds mad!

We're hoping for 6 or more Minis on the track, although a couple won't be there.

Spectators welcome! :wink:

Open practice- cars only. There will be sports cars, race cars, and US!!

they run 20min sessions usually.

Food and drinks are available.

Scott, it will rev past 8K, but I won't take it over 7,500... unless I'm desperate.. :)

Road car? Yeah, right... :evil:

We don't really worry about lap times- we just get out there together and go for it!

I'll be happy if I still stay ahead of James Be's 998 turbo.. he's just put a Russell Eng turbo grind cam in it... :?

<edit> while I had the head off the 1310 today I had a squiz at the bores- after 40,000 miles running Mahle flat top race pistons, there's no lip in the bore- pistons don't rock either. And it runs a 45 Dellorto. So much for the `bore washing' theory..
I guess it's good for a few revs yet.. :wink:

I already have a passenger (13secmini) but I'm sure there would be a spare seat in one of the cars... em me where you want to meet, and I'll ring you in the morning around 6.30.. 8) How far out of Goulburn are you (time wise, at legal speed, lol)??
