G'day all, My Kermit clubman (1976 998) is N V Green Dulux (?) no. 56615696. Went to the local auto paint shop and whilst they have the number and name recorded they don't have the formula to make up the paint. They said they can colour match if I take something off the car. We went around the car and there are bugger all pieces you can take off - they suggested the boot lid! Wondering if anyone knows of any places anywhere who have the know how to make up old numbered paint. I just need a couple hundred mls for touch ups, painting the channels, etc. Cheers. |

the Dulux/Dulon paint shouldn't be a problem to get. I got a 77 clumbman matched from the paint code at a placed called "crash supplies" in brookvale a while back, not sure if they are still there but there is another good paint place in brookvale too. I also got a 75 clubman matched by just the name at "Carplus" in Narrabeen, they are just a parts place that mixes paint too so ask around, If you don't get any joy, tell the lazy sod behind the counter to call their paint rep and get the equivalent formula. |
