Would this make my Moke more powerful. I think it is a far better way achieving extra power than going to a big block

Get twins and run dual hiclones for an extra boost , you'll be more efficient than a Prius as well .

I reckon a Hiclone and a 9v battery (makes it a hybrid!), I could actually make petrol instead of consuming it.

So does a rocket engine. Did you see that VW New Beetle in California which uses the original engine and a jet from a helicopter? It's here: http://www.ronpatrickstuff.com/ It's got two engines which work to move the car, using separate power sources/fuels, so therefore it's a hybrid. I like his comments about using the Commuter/Hybrid lanes on the highway, just like Prius driving fools!  Nothing like using poorly written legislation against the authors. 8) If only it was in something better than a VW - although having an afterburner hanging out the rear end would spoil the looks of most cars... New  Beetles are hard to make any worse. Maybe that's the sort of swirling air you should use to make the Moke faster!

a gas turbine Moke would be great. Especially if achieved forward motion through thrust rather than a gearbox.

You could mount it on a pedistal on the back - but I dont know if the four drums would be up to it
