Well im 27 now, but at the time when i was buildin it, all my mates were partyin on, and pissin all there money up against the wall... I coulda done the same, but all my cash and all my spare time went into the car. I think i kinda got carried away with the perfection side of things!! That i picked that up from my mum.....Everything has to be clean and perfect!

Yeah but thats way to easy. Any one can take a heap of crap body and throw in a killer engine.

I still had a fair share of drinkin and partyin tho! The shell sat in 2 different panel beaters for 2 years, so there was only so much work i could do without the shell.

But once i got it back, my drinkin days were over anyway! Id grown up a bit, i was 21!!!

This was my first attempt at the car, this cost me about 10k. It went well, it had a 1293 in it. But i got sick of looking at a car with flaws. Imperfections piss me off. Its to easy to build a car thats not perfect. I need to be challenged.

I think it all comes down to my standard of quality. If I do something, i want to be sure that ive done it to the highest standard of quality i can possibly do. It frustrates me when people try n take the easy way when buildin cars, they take a short cut here and there. But it stands out, and brings the entire car down. Whats wrong with doing the best you can possibly do?

If ur gunna do a job, do the best job u can do.

Well said!

I'm glad you changed the wheels. The 'rostyles' looked crap.

whatever mate, i think the rostyles looked good, as did the whole car overall..

theres nothing like perfection, but like matt said if i had that paintjob i wouldnt be leaving my car at shopping centres in the city at night or in the rain/harsh sun.. so basically not using it much.
