Would you consider scanning the pages, I'd love to read that to my little boy!

I'll see what I can do , it's an odd size and is too wide to fit on an A4 scanner without losing text . I'll see if I can find someone with a bigger scanner that will let me sneak in ....

Thought of that , but taking a photo straight on with my camera ends up with flash reflection , still trying to setup a gentle but bright light reflector so I can get good lighting on things without reflections so I can do the brochures .

Just use a lamp or put it under some good lighting minus flash

Tried , the lamp leaves a light reflection or shading on one end or the other , need the reflective umbrella type thing the professional photographers use to get a bright but diffused light onto things .

I got it from the UK off ebay several years ago , there's two stories , the first one speedy finds a lion that ran away from the circus and takes it back , then some fun pages (a game , a page to colour in , a cutout mini to make etc) and then another story where he saves a puppy that strayed into a bulls paddock .

Try putting the shiny side of alfoil over a piece of cardboard and placing it around a bit to get the best affect, or do you want the dull side out for a gentle reflection? Cant remember. :?
