Hi there are a couple of LS minis on ebay at the moment but they have different looking boots. Did they come out with 2 shapes or is one no longer original? One has plenty of room in the number plate dip and the other one is only a bit larger than the plate itself.
Boot history anyone?

Here is a pic of my LS1275 boot shape. It use to be Nugget Gold.

Hope this helps!

If the flap's longer than that ^^^, it's off an 850 or a Cooper pre-1965, or else it's a UK boot.

Thanks. Still trying to get the basics down pat. Guess I need to get along to a few meetings and check out the models and what the differences are.

Yep - I am so worried about the groove's rarity I am going to try to get it standardised to suit all other LS1275's.

Or, if anyone really wants to swap their LS boot with mine I am happy to discuss

Twas many moons ago.... on a very rainy day....

You may be able to read "Mazda RX2" on the bonnet if you squint the right way....

The death of my first mini..... car 4 in a nose to tail...

Though after peeling the grill off the spark plugs and putting the leads back on - she still ran fine..... the S shaped radiator even still held water.....
