What advantages do chrome rings have over standard

The chrome top rings last longer, but take longer to bed in than plain cast iron ones.
The Hastings rings on the Hypatecs in my 1360 are chrome, the ones going into the 1412 stroker are later stock, and are plain.

how come your stroker is 1412 and GR says mine is 1411?

my stroke is longer probably.... Spiro got it to 84.3mm, and it's still std/std.:P
