For all those aspiring track day runners, here is your day. Paul Ruzic of Ruzic Engineering runs weekday track days with full timing and cars grouped according to speed to reduce overtaking. These days are huge on boostcruising, skylines australia, ausrotary and auscartalk (Mx-5) forums.

It is a top even to see and eveyone has heaps of fun. See below for Paul's recent releases about the upcoming day.

Hi Guys,
UPDATE
Morning Session: Less than 10 spots left !!
Afternoon Session: Only 12 spots left !!

Passenger Rides: To book a passenger ride you must be PAID IN FULL. There are only a few of these left !!

Volunteers: I only have 4 volunteer spots left, these are great value. See below.
If you are not driving and can help out for a half day, please let me know.
It’s the volunteers that make the day run so well.

Thanks for the great response so far. Please get your booking in early, spots are disappearing quickly !!

I have attached the first email again below (with a few error corrections)

Hi Guys,
The next track day will be on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 12. It will be a Full Day event, ran as two half days.

I have done some fine tuning to the format of the day. I think we are heading to the ultimate day. Especially now the timing equipment is back 100%

Expect at least 28 laps on the Clubman and Sprint circuits, and 14 laps for the National and Sportsman circuits.

The format will be:
7:30am Arrive and get checked in.
8:15am Morning Driver Briefing
8:30am Clubman Circuit
11:20am Passenger Rides (2 groups of 6)
11:50am National Circuit
12:40pm MORNING SESSION END
12:00pm Afternoon drivers arrive and get checked in.
12:50pm Afternoon Driver Briefing

4:10pm Sportsman Circuit
5:00pm AFTERNOON SESSION END

PASSENGER RIDES
The passenger rides will be available to the first 24 people (12 morning and 12 afternoon) who want them and have made full payment. This is a bonus.

There is strictly no overtaking. This session is for fun. If you overtake or drive too hard for any reason, you will be banned from future passenger sessions.
Your passenger is required to sign in and have the same protective clothing as the driver.

BOOKING SYSTEM – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE TERMS

To make a booking there is a $30 deposit or full payment. If you cancel the $30 is lost as a cancellation fee.
Full payment is due 2 weeks before the event. If you do not pay, your deposit will be lost and your spot sold.
Driving positions are non-refundable 1 week before the event.

There are 5 spots reserved for volunteer drivers. If you want to help out for half the event, you can work for 1/2 day and drive the other half free. The jobs include Track controller, pit Lane Marshall, pit lane organizer, timing room helper etc.

You will either drive the morning or afternoon session. Let me know if you want one of these spots and your driving preference. Your preference is not guaranteed. You are required to be on site for the full duration of your volunteer period. The volunteer periods are from 7:30am to 12:40pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

FINAL WORD

Please ensure you read all the rules below.
This is set to be another great day. Make sure you book early.
See you there.
