Bummer! When I look at more modern cars... Excels etc and can push the door panels in, I think...thank god Im teaching my kids to drive in a small car thats actually made from metal and not tin foil. Things could have been a lot worse! Glad your ok. Could you could get one of those fibreglass body shells and rebuild it? |

Bugger! Thank God nobody was badly hurt. People think Minis are dangerous, just because they are small, but IMO there are far worse cars to have a bad prang in. I was front passenger in an 850 in `65 that went head on into a tree, very bad prang. Tree went thru radiator and stopped 12" into the roof. Hey, 21 weeks in hospital, but I'm still here... My son 5 years ago was front passenger in his Clubby, they hit a Camry head on, hey he's still here too. ![]() I've seen lots of bent Minis, but their occupants all survived. Chalk another one up for the car of the century.. ![]() |
