They did make deluxes in 1970, it is a MKII deluxe mini K early 70 just before the antiburst lift up door handle model. Push button due to stufed electrics and doggy modifications as demonstrated by the doggy mounting of the switch panel. Might be alright if nothing is lurking under the outsides new paint and it goes cheap. If not wait till it comes back up for sale by the next person who decides it to bigger job Jeez sorry I'm feeling cinical today steve |

The hydrolastic suspension needs fixing. Is that expensive? |

Depends whats wrong with it.. If it just needs a pump up it probably wont be expensive.. but if theres other problems.. might need an overhaul... |

Apart from the hydro displacers and piping, most of the rest is stocko Mini suspension parts- knuckle joints, balljoints, etc. Once fluid pressure is let out they are easy to work on. Suspension parts are cheap, only added expense is pumping the hydro back up with fluid. If a displacer or a pipe springs a leak, replacement is the usual option, although pipes can be repaired with fittings from Pirtek etc. New displacers are NLA, but with minor mods it is possible to replace hoses.. |

It seems sus to me too, clubby tailights, clubman "S" rim as a spare, the std deluxe doors, mind you it could have just had a nasty rear ender, and they wrecked a clubby n put on the back end, and had a left over wheel? IF you go to inspect it, have a look inside the boot, around the tailights, there shall be some stories id imagine. cheers -Cam ![]() |
