Can you use anything to wash brushes after using POR 15 Rust preservative paint? |

Go to Bunnings and buy a pile of el-cheapo brushes and throw them away once you've finished. Also use throw away rubber gloves.Have fun |

The POR 15 Solvent is good to remove the paint from brushes but is not really worth the effort - just go cheap bristle, use and ditch. They arent bullshitting when they say it takes a few days to come off expose skin - looked like a zebra for a week when I caught the radiator I was painting with my uncovered hand(yes I painted the gills!!!). There was ythe paint on my hands to remain for a week - got the piss pulled big time! Good paint though - radiator came up fantastically and only done the POR 15 coat - next the tie coat followed by hammercoat black. Good luch with the cleaning but IMO - just ditch the brushes and keep a good stock of them close by. Hooroo Rob Forsyth Miniot!! |
