Hi,

Is anyone able to help me identify what year and exactly what my motor may be?
The engine number starts with 99HG30 266xxx...From what I can see it may be a 998 A+ 1985 on?

other info: I bought it new in 1996, and Im not sure if its got anything to do with being able to tell the year, but the manifold has a spot for some kind of a sensor near the carby? I've plugged the hole.

Also how expensive and how hard would it be to fit a single point injection system from a rover?
