Cut the guy some slack willy - It's a perfectly askable question The true meaning seams to have been lost in the mists of time and the real answer a topic of much debate. You may find the following link an interesting read on the subject... http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/mowog.htm Personally I like this one though http://www.mowog.co.nz/ even if I'm not convinced it's the origin of the phrase

I thought that once - quite convinced of it in fact, but not so sure now. The MG argument has considerable weight. A good topic for a heated discussion around a winters fire - but I'm out of Bundy so I'm not in the mood  Happy debating fellas.
