It was new tyre time this month, and this year I found it a bit more difficult to find the usual Yokohama A008’s stocked locally for a reasonable price.

I’d heard a few positive reviews about the Nankang 165/70R10 Eco 2+ Greensport, and they were also available from a local tyre shop with next day service.

I ended up with a set of 4 fitted & balanced & disposal for $500 which I thought was pretty decent.

Initial impressions are good, they seem smooth and round on the highway and the grip has been good, with no wheelspin off the line so far. The quoted treadwear index is 320, which means they should last a bit longer than the A008 which is rated at 200.

Sounds good Timmy, keeo us updated as decent tyres are hard to find..
FWIW I have a008s on 10s and Falkens on 12s which I rotate depending on my mood. There seems very little to choose between them, on bitumen or gravel. I tend not to drive in the rain if I can help it so wet performance is unknown.
