Post subject: | Clubman Heater Ducting |
Hi. Could anybody advise what is being use for the heater ducting on a 1972-73 Australian mini clubman. The ducting concerned runs along under the lower dash panel righthand side and through the inner guard at the top - then on the outside of the inner guard back into the engine bay which connects to an air scoop. Looking for ducting that looks original in keeping. I don't have any ducking to go by on the car. Any help would be much appreciated - photo's welcome. Is 80mm the correct size for that ducting? Cheer's |

Do you have the steel connectors and the elbow reducer that connects from outside to in? The underwing hose is a metal foil rolled material. The under dash is a card or paper tube that is frankly poor quality and deteriorates. I think the inner is 80mm while the outer is 100mm. |

Some of the parts and ducts are available from minisport aus in Adelaide. Apparently unslotted ag pipe from bunnings ia also a substitute. |

I used this stuff from Bunnings aluminium ducting for range hoods fits perfect from the air scoop to the elbow to inside the car whilst yo exu are at Bunnings the plumbing dept has the stainless hose clamps and 50mm UNSLOTTED agg pipe is pretty close as you will find for the heater ducts to the windscreen vents I can't helpabout the inner guard to the heater as I used my original one |
