On the Mk1 S with front clear beehive lens indicator. Is the globe itself orange or clear? Is it a twin filament globe? |

Yes it’s a twin filament bulb. One filament for the indicator and one for the parking light |

I used some 1157 switchback led bulbs, along with a Tridon HD13 electronic flasher unit. No wiring changes were needed, just install the bulbs and flasher Parking lights are white Indicators are amber If you have the parking lights on, then turn on the indicator, the parking light goes out Eg https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393157857659 |

I was lucky - I just bought and fitted the LED bulbs only and they worked perfectly. |

I put mine in and took them back out. The parkers were brighter than my head lights…… and I didn’t like the different colour temperatures. White/yellow (candle). |
