Hi guys, Prompted by the wanted post and same on the mk1 forum, I had a look at what I had. I knew I didn't have the originals, and had bought two of the reproductions. The repros don't hold the air box tight even after running a die down the elbow thread without cutting more thread, and don't look like pictures of the originals. I have three of the longer ones for the single air boxes I can shorten in the lathe and re tap. Can anybody help me with the dimensions. Thanks in advance Stewart |

Hello Stewart, I gave it a go for you. I measured one I've got here and I get 30mm from under the head to the end of the tube. The length of the thread measured 16mm Regards, Glen |

Thanks Guys, I had read the topic Timmy posted but to be honest I was still confused as to which of those pictured referred to a 1966 cooper S. Apologies if I've been obtuse, a lot going on in my aging brain at the moment. Thanks Stewart |

I believe the 1966 S should have the one on the left Left: Shank = 30mm / Diameter = 8.8mm |
