Hey all, long time no post

My HG blew between 3+4 last week. (boosted 1100) Did the calc's after the fact and determined i had a static comp of 10.5:1 (spicy)

Now in order to attempt to make Rylstone, i can either go single gasket and risk another blow out, or double up, lower comp to around 9.69:1 and pray to the engine gods?

1098+60
12g206 head 26cc chambers
Deck height 13 thou
gt17 6psi

Have cleaned and polished the head and top of block (obvs would love to do a skim to true them both, but probably not able with time at the moment)

Are there any other options?

I had a good chat with an engine builder a few weeks back and he said he’d had good results with his turbo engine running a double head gasket.

I did it for years on my 1310 when running flat top Mahle pistons on the street. It got the C/R down to 11.0:1....!
