I purchased a set of their R Monoblock brakes along with alloy uprights. The website says that these brakes will fit under 10 inch rims. They won’t fit under Mambas, Cheviot or Rosepetals. Now I have to find some 10s that will. The spline in the hub do not fit the cv joints without hours of work. The alloy uprights do not have a place for the supplied balljoint lock tab to attach to. The alloy uprights have a ridge on the rear not allowing bearing to be fitted without the hub being modified. thanks to Ken Nelson at MiniAutomotive for his help. |

I don't think I have a part from them that I haven't had to replace in a short time. |

They didn't doubt me, but would not send the right one until the wrong one had arrived back with them ("It's company policy you know".) Having to pay a couple of unexpected freight bills must have eaten into their profits on that sale. |

A friend in MCC of NSW bought a Minisport UK 3.2:1 cw&p for a new rebuild. When run in and he nailed the throttle it stripped all the teeth off the pinion. It was brittle. Replaced with a s/h minispares 3.1 set, no more problem. I've heard of other problems with their gearsets. |
