| Post subject: | Paper air filter for HS6 |
I have done a lot of searching but I haven't found a paper type filter for a HS6 that will fit in a mini. Is there something I haven't found? I want to use a paper filter as my mini will get driven to a place which has lots of red dust, for a while we basically had a machine that made dust due to no water supply. I have a few ideas for custom housings or a Donaldson filter but the Donaldson does sound a little bit restrictive for the amount I will drive it in the city. |

Interesting. I hadn't actually tried googling it for a while and haven't seen that before. Would that actually fit though? |

Its pretty easy to make your own filter case. I used basic hand tools and some scrap alloy sheet to make a top and bottom plate to sandwich an XU1 paper filter. I made two to fit my twin HS4s so a single would be half the work  ....The Holden filters also provide plenty of room for some after market stub stacks. Cheers, Ian |
