Hi fellas what dprings and needles would people recommend for a set of twin sus with a 1275 40 thou over, 266 GR cam and extractors? |

If twin HS2's then probably just the standard Red Springs and M needles. Change to AH2 needles if it needs to be a bit richer. If you have twin HS4's like the SPO41 then your probably looking at Blue Springs and CP4 needles. Change to No 7 or No 6 needles if it needs to be a bit leaner. I have a 1310 with 2x 1-1/2 SUs, MED head and GR's 266SS cam. I experimented with lots of carb spring/needle combos on my dyno. The red springs worked ok, but didn't allow full opening of the carbs, but blues were great in that respect. I'm using blue springs and CP4's as gtogreen suggested, but they are modified quite a bit from station 4 and up, but you may not have to do this if you don't have much cylinder head on it. It would be a good starting point if you have twin 1-1/2" carbs. |

Red springs and m needles , initially tried ah2 needles m was better . |
