Just would like to know the correct positioning of the twin SU carby fuel feed pipe.

Rightly or wrongly so, mine is #2 with another strap going around the pipe and secured by the accelerator cable bracket nut.

Yeh run the fuel pipe closest to the rocker cover.

There is a short P clip that supports the fuel pipe at the PCV valve and another longer P clip at the other end.

The Accelerator Cable bracket goes on first then the short P clip then the PCV valve bracket.
