Can't seem to find the recent post about intergalactic force-field inverter flux realignment strategy. Was here a few days ago....

Hope the moderators haven't censored a potential quantum leap forward in automotive technology.

Seemed like this poster could use their powers to develop an revolutionary new way of keeping the A-Series internal combustion engine ahead of coal-fired and ferret-wheel propulsion long enough to get the auction prices of Cooper S to $100,000

Did you click on the link and enter your credit card information to find out the secrets to the device Bill? Hopefully it’s not lost to the mystical ausmini trash bin

That was me who deleted it. I felt very Putinish at the time and needed to use my authoritarian powers to retain the upper hand of this forum. Can’t let the masses feel any sense of freedom of expression.

I apologise.

I must admit that I am concerned by those kinds of posts. Are they just a randomly generated distraction, a bug, or is someone out there really experiencing a psychotic episode.

But, for the safety of this site, it's best to remove them. Not really complaining about that, Doug (AKA 'Vlad the Moderator').

I’d think they are a malicious post with the intent of making you click on a link, either to give you a virus, take your money, or steal your login details. Some people have too much time to create these, or are smart enough to make programs that do it automatically

It can be difficult to distinguish genuine and fake users when they sign up, and when you add extra steps it tends to get rid of most of the fake users but not all. They tend to have a pretty similar style of “click bait” style posts

There’s the little red exclamation mark at the bottom right corner of any posts if you need to report them to the admin

Buggar. I was going to buy one to replace the Peter Brock polarizer which has mysteriously stopped working. ;-)

We've all put so much into 'trusting the science' the past couple of years I would think anything is possible
