Hi all,

I’ve got absolutely no experience on the rear suspension... when putting some new drums on the rear today I noticed there was a bit of play in the outboard end of the rear radius arm. Is there anything that could be loose, or would the culprit most likely be the bearing wearing out (most likely still the original one)

Could be the bronze bushes in the arm that are worn out, as well as the bearings.

Bearing is easy enough to do, the bush is a bit trickier as the new one needs to be reamed to the correct size.

Hi Tim,
I have the gear to ream the bush in line with the needle bearing.
Also a puller for the needle bearing.
You should replace both, and the shaft. Repair kit is around $30.
