When replacing the bearings, how far in from the outside edges of the arm should the bearing be? Been that long since I stripped them I can’t recall. Cheers

Hey Turbo. I didn't measure mine exactly but the non technical term would be a whisker or perhaps a tad :D

If I had to guess at a measurement, I'd say about 0.5mm. Press them in just enough so that they are just inside the housing.

Cheers Rocky

Hey! This is a moment.
Rocky has gone from asking advice to helping someone with advise. This is great to see.
We have all gone through a similar process of learning about minis and then helping where we can.

And, for what it's worth, I agree with Rocky's comment.

I agree with rocky ^^
Just below flush.
If you push them right in a puller won't get them out.
There's blog I put in the how-to forum on making a puller, which will also pull the idler gear bearing out of the flywheel housing.
