Stag is best. However I've used Loctite 515 or Permatex aviation gasket cement successfully. |

I used Stag on a leaking plug about 3 years ago and it's still holding OK, with corrosion inhibitor in coolant. |

I put Stag on the core plugs in an engine I did 10 years ago - still not leaking! Everything else in the mini however.... |

I used a dab of the mercury non hardening gasket sealer on mine about 14 years ago. No leaks! |

Aviation sealer or Wurth pipe seal. Never had any issues with either. |
