Is anybody interested in manufacturing replacement stainless steel door handles and escutcheons. It will be expensive but the more takers the less expensive it will be. I am investigating the options. Of course it would be a complete set, driver and passenger and two escutcheons.

You will need your own lock barrel as this will not be supplied.

Any input would be helpful.

Please add your user name if you are interested.

Have you considered getting them cast probably from aluminum? They may then need plating but it might be a cheaper alternative.
I'm interested but would probably end up adapting 850 handles (I think this is possible but they are slightly longer?) unless they were relatively cheap.

Don't forget the hoarders have plenty of handles and their wife throws them away when they die,

Looks like there is no real interest here, so it goes on the back burner.

It is a good idea and there will be a demand for them, although they will always be a slow-moving part. Most mini owners only look for things like this when they realise they need one.
At least the hoarders are thinking ahead.

Hi Cooperess
I am looking at options myself. The shaft on my drivers door handle is quite worn.
Did you come up with a solution?

Not much need for these items, so it's on the to do list sometime.

The shaft is square steel, it can be built up with nickel bronze or Tig welding and filed back where worn.
