What’s a complete running 1100cc engine with 100,342kms on it worth? It the original engine out of a 1975 Leyland Mini. As far as I know, no work other than basic maintenance has been done.

The engine is currently in the car and runs well. I have recently picked up a 1275 I intend to rebuild and fit in my car. Just wondering if it’s worth keeping the 1100 as a spare, or if it’s worth a few bucks the cash would certainly be handy towards the 1275 rebuild cost.

Please note: I’m not looking for bids or offers just a general interest of it worth at this stage.

Thanks guys :D

Engine and gearbox.

Pretty much everything as it would come out of the running car as I intend to replace everything possible with the 1275 rebuild.

They vary pretty wildly from a cheap 2-300 up to the MENTAL 1500 odd ive seen some at. Seriously crazy. Few hundred bucks depending on leaks and ancillaries id say.

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.
