Hello. I am fitting a new universal joint of the passenger side drive shaft of a Mini K. I have the nylon cup one. The drive shaft can be levered a bit to provide more clearance, but not enough to fit the universal joint (drive shaft coupling). Is it necessary to remove some nylon cups (and be careful not to lose needle bearings)? or... is there some other way to get more clearance and fit the u-joint in with the nylon cups in place? Thanks. |

pop the top balljoint off and it'll let the driveshaft move out far enough to get the universal in |
