Does anyone know where I can get a cone compressor tool in Brisbane? Also can I use it with the subframe out of the car? |

When I had a car with dry suspension I used a bit of allthread, a piece of 1/4" plate and a few nuts.... Can be used out of the car Not needed if you're putting in hilos |

Rikki There a couple of "How to" .... Classic Mini subframe Youtube builds done by Mini Mania in the US about four years ago. Even with the correct cone compressor it took a lot of leverage and effort. They also give the best sequence to fit the parts (including hi-los) to make the job easier. Good Luck Dave D |
